Visualizing Spatiotemporal Data using K-L Decomposition

Examples:

Single Rotating Cell - Flames Rotating Cells Uniform Rotation - Numerical Model Modulated Rotation - Numerical Model Counter Rotating Rings Two Cell Standing Wave 4 Cell Hopping Intermittent

Note: the MPEG movies on this site use a large image size. You must use an MPEG player that supports the full MPEG standard. On Unix systems this is usually not a problem, but the default movieplayer for Microsoft platforms only supports very small movies. A popular fully-standard player for Microsoft platforms is VMPEG. If you don't have a suitable MPEG player, you can still view the movies as animated gifs.
