We are changing the way we are running the labs to adapt to the equipment situation.
We do not want the lab to be a checkoff session but a learning session.
Here is the new procedure which will be in effect starting 10/11/99:
Sign in when you come in.
Check off procedure. You get 5 points (half credit) if you attend the lab.
The lab class time will be spent going through the lab from the beginning
and answering questions as we go.
If we get through the whole lab during the session, everyone gets a 10.
If not, additional partial credit will be given depending on how far the class gets.
You have one week from that lab date to hand in the source code for
the rest of the lab.
You will be expected to complete whatever was not done
to get full credit (10 points) for the lab.
If you come to the lab with the program done, please help your neighbor.
If there are not enough machines, you will need to share and work together.
Be sure to bring a floppy to save your source code so you can continue working on
the lab.
When you hand in source code:
You should have a handwritten cover statement about how far you got.
You should hi-light all of the code that you added on the printout.
No floppy disks will be accepted.
The new lab schedule is:
Lab 5: Monday October 11 and Wednesday October 13.
Lab 6: Monday October 18 and Wednesday October 20
Lab 7: Monday October 25 and Wednesday October 27.
If you are already checked off for lab 5, you don't have to come again.
